To help prevent trucks from taking potentially unsafe U-turns, hundreds of thousands of new turn restrictions have been added to our North America map data, starting with the Q2 2023 map data set.

While this change improves truck routing, it may also cause older versions of CoPilot to display a much larger number of restriction icons on the map during navigation.

Removing restriction icons

If you find that drivers are seeing too many restrictions, you can stop the display of additional icons (with North America Q2 2023 or later data), one of two ways:

• Update your devices to CoPilot 10.26.1.192 or later.
• Disable the display of turn restrictions in CoPilot under Settings > Map Display & Guidance > Show Turn Restrictions. Tap the button to toggle restrictions off (gray, button slides left).
