Each time you add a stop to your trip, the Trip Preview screen opens. It displays all the essential information about your trip so that you can review it or edit it before beginning to drive. 


Trip Preview components


  1. Open the Trip Options drawer. 
  2. Open the Location Search screen to add another stop to your trip.
  3. View the trip's current stops. Tap the bar at the bottom to expand it.
  4. View the possible routes (up to three) CoPilot has selected for the trip. The blue call-out box is the currently selected route. The white boxes are the other possible routes.
  5. Zoom in on your starting location or final stop.
  6. View the trip's distance and estimated travel time.
  7. View the current Vehicle Routing Profile. It is important that you confirm CoPilot has the correct profile for your vehicle before starting your trip.
  8. View full Directions for the trip.
  9. Start the trip. This navigation screen opens.


Trip Preview features

The Map

You can pan and zoom in and zoom out of the map using finger gestures. Swipe to pan up, down or sideways. Open two fingers on the map to zoom in; pinch two fingers together on the map to zoom out.

Trip Options

Tap the three-dots menu at the top of the Trip Preview screen to open the Trip Options menu.

  1. CoPilot analyzes the trip and moves as many of the stops as necessary to make the trip the most efficient.
  2. Load a previously saved trip.
  3. Save the current trip so it can be loaded in the future.
  4. Open a route demo screen where CoPilot shows what your trip would look like while navigation is in progress.
  5. Clear the current trip if you want to plan a new trip.
  6. Close the Trip Options menu.
