You build a trip in CoPilot by selecting one or more stop locations you plan to drive to from your Current Location. You can find stops and add them to your trip multiple ways.
Search for stops
On the home screen
There are two ways on the home screen to search for locations.
- Tap the Search bar and enter the street address or the name of a location you want to add as a stop. CoPilot suggests addresses as you type.
- Tap one of the Places buttons to search for nearby Places by category (Truck Services, Truck Stop, Restaurant, and More).
On the Trip Preview screen
- Tap Plan Trip at the bottom of the home screen.
- The Trip Preview screen opens. Tap the + button.
- The Location Search screen opens.
- In the Location Search screen, you can tap in the Search bar to search by address or Place name (1), tap one of the Places buttons to search for nearby Places by category (2), tap a recently searched location (3), or tap Load Trip (4) to load a saved trip.
Add stops
When you search and then select (tap) a stop, the Location Info screen opens. This screen displays a map view of the stop. On this screen you can tap:
- The satellite button toggle between a satellite and a standard map.
- The star to add the location as a favorite location for future trips.
- The Add Stop button to add the location as a stop to your current trip.
- Tapping Add Stop returns you to the Trip Preview screen, where you can enter additional stops (+ button) or Start your trip. (If you enter a stop via the Search box, the route calculates automatically. If you enter a stop via Plan Trip, you need to tap Calculate to calculate your route before you can tap Start.)
