The Day/Night Mode setting allows a driver to select whether the background of their CoPilot map screen appears light or dark. To set Day/Night mode:

• Tap the Main Menu from the map screen.
• The Day/Night Mode button defaults to Day/Night Mode, which means the map background is light from sunrise to sunset and dark from sunset to sunrise.
• Tap Day/Night Mode to select either Day Mode (always light).
•  Or Night Mode (always dark)

You can also change the map style displayed in Day/Night Mode under Settings > Styles.
